a little preview of what 1.4 fetch data will look like:

  1. How soon is imminent?

    • Now!!! :)

  2. Looks good, any chance to include currents as this would help race planning.

    • Hi Grant,

      thanks for your comment.
currents and waves are on their way. Be patient, we are getting there. There’s a few important things we need to fix first. :)

      kind regards,

    • Currents and waves are in implementation.

      • Thanks Kubante,

I have been using the app almost every day over the last week as we lead up to the Melbourne to Stanley yacht race which across the notorious Bass Strait.

I am very much looking forward to the having the extra data show.

Thank you for taking the time to build a very useful app.

        Kind Regards

  3. mobileGRIB looks great, but there is a bug in wind barbes presentation:

On the southern hemisphere, they have to show to the right side, opposite to how they are now which is correct for the northern hemisphere.

This is important because they always show to the lower pressure. The way it’s now makes it difficult to impossible to make a meteorological interpretation. Please check and correct.

On several cruises as a forecaster on the German Polar research vessel POLARSTERN in the Antarctic I always needed a few days and some tip-ex to get used to when drawing synoptic weather charts ;-)

    Regards, Bernd.
